Introduction

Becoming Alpha, Inc. (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing a fair and transparent process for resolving disputes that may arise between users or between users and Becoming Alpha. This Dispute Resolution Policy outlines the procedures for resolving disputes related to our platform and services.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, which contains an arbitration agreement for certain types of disputes. For detailed information about mandatory arbitration and the arbitration process, please refer to the "Dispute Resolution and Arbitration" section of our Terms of Service.

Dispute Resolution Process

  1. Direct Communication: Before filing a formal dispute, we strongly encourage users to contact the other party directly through the platform's messaging system to attempt to reach a resolution.
  2. Report to Becoming Alpha: If direct communication does not resolve the dispute, either party may report the dispute to us at support@becomingalpha.world with "Dispute" in the subject line.
  3. Investigation: We will investigate the matter by reviewing platform records, communications, and evidence provided by both parties. Investigation typically takes 5-10 business days.
  4. Decision: After investigation, we will make a decision based on the evidence, our Terms of Service, and applicable laws, and notify both parties of the decision.

Blockchain Transaction Limitations

IMPORTANT: Becoming Alpha operates a non-custodial platform and cannot reverse or cancel completed blockchain transactions, retrieve tokens that have been sent to another wallet, or force refunds for completed on-chain transactions. If your dispute involves a completed blockchain transaction, our ability to provide a remedy may be limited.

Arbitration

For certain types of disputes, our Terms of Service require binding arbitration instead of court proceedings. This Policy provides an internal dispute resolution process, but please note that legal disputes may be subject to mandatory arbitration as outlined in our Terms of Service.

For detailed information about when arbitration applies, the arbitration process, your rights to opt-out, and exceptions to arbitration, please see the "Dispute Resolution and Arbitration" section of our Terms of Service.
